“Quality Work from an Experienced and Reliable Professional”

D. Forrest Fox

David got his start in the industry back in 2015, spending his evenings working as assistant inker to long time Marvel and DC artist Scott Hanna, where he served as background inker on numerous titles.

After that, David worked on various small projects while providing inks on the unreleased “Bram Stoker” from Inner Station Publishing. He then went on to work as colorist for the nationally acclaimed title “STUD and the Bloodblade”, an epic fantasy adventure from CEX Publishing.

In 2021 David was hired, by Inner Station and HarperCollins Publishers, to provide inking for “Girl on Fire”, an authentic, honest coming-of-age graphic novel about finding the fire within, from fifteen-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Alicia Keys.

Right now David is working as co-creator, writer and colorist on the comic strip, and developing graphic novel, “Dodge and Hustle”, currently featured in the bi-monthly publication at www.akidandacomic.com

David offers reasonable (and negotiable) rates on cover and interior work. He is capable of producing quality lines and/or color, within budget and on deadline. He brings to the table a passion rooted in his love for the process, a strong work ethic, reliability, and clear communication skills.
